Recap
Even though autumn has officially arrived, summer decided to make an appearance at Mesa Creek’s Fall Fest with temps in the 90s! Over 150 residents gathered at the park on a warm Saturday afternoon to welcome in the new season and have a great time with their Nabrs.
There was no shortage of excitement for the kiddos! They got to meet adorable animals at the petting zoo, jump around in a huge bounce house, have their faces painted and see balloons transform into magical creations. Fun fall games included the Running Man where Julian showed off his catching abilities and Hula Hoop Tic-Tac-Toe where Julie was crowned tic-tac-toe champ. Residents also had the opportunity to get a head start on their holiday shopping at the NabrHood Vendor Fair which displayed the talented work of local vendors. To cool down, Nabrs gathered under the shade of the pavilion and enjoyed tasty food from Mr. Meximum and Kona Ice while adults relaxed with a refreshing microbrew tasting courtesy of Freetail Brewery. There was something for everyone to enjoy!
Thank you to all who came out to spend the weekend building community. We look forward to seeing everyone at future events, until then……
Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
