National Night Out, September 7, 2018

Recap

Over 150 Nabrs took part in the National Night Out event this past Friday. It was a great opportunity for residents, and the first responders that serve the community, to connect!

Everyone took advantage of the cooler weather (below triple digits!) and enjoyed the beautiful park, playground and pavilion. Families could be found gathered around tables enjoying free pizza and cold drinks while catching up with their Nabrs. Kids enjoyed playing games like Big Cone Ring Toss and Chuckin’ Chicken, having their faces painted with cool designs and letting loose on the dance floor.

There were special guests in attendance as well! Officer Villa, with the local police department, was chatting with residents and giving everyone a chance to get an up close look at a police car. Greg Brockhouse, District 6 City Councilman, and his staff were on hand to meet and greet with residents. It was a wonderful chance for everyone to come together and truly understand the workings of their community.

We look forward to future events in the Legacy Trails NabrHood! Until then….

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
