National Night Out, October 6, 2018

Recap

Over 70 residents took part in their NabrHood National Night Out event this past Saturday. It was a night full of fun, music, games and friends!

The special guests of the evening were the fire fighters from Bexar County District 7 Fire Station and their bright red Fire Engine 115. Residents learned about the role that the first responders play in the community, received a personal tour of the fire truck and had the chance to see just how far a fire ladder extends (hint….really really far!). Kids even took pictures with the fire fighters while wearing real fire helmets.

The excitement didn’t stop there! Kids could be found jumping around in the bouncy house, competing in relay races, kicking around the soccer ball and catching footballs. To cool down from all the fun, free soda and Waterloo Sparkling Water was available for all. It was a fun way to spend a Saturday night and we can’t wait to see everyone again at the Fall Fest on November 3rd. Until then…..

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
