Independence Day Celebration, Sunday, June 30th, 2024

Recap

Nearly 100 residents gathered at the clubhouse on a sunny Sunday afternoon to celebrate the upcoming Independence Day holiday. There was something for everyone including fun activities, hot music, tasty food and most importantly great company. It was the perfect way to celebrate America’s birthday!

The festivities kicked off with a bike and cart parade where residents decked out their rides in the red, white and blue. When the parade ended, the fun was just beginning! Kids enjoyed pool games such as a ring toss, scavenger hunt and a hula hoop challenge while adults lounged poolside sipping on refreshing ciders from Austin Eastciders, Elight Eight Light Lager and handcrafted margaritas. Both kids and adults loved the watermelon and pie eating contests where things got a bit heated and messy!

For those who worked up an appetite, The Board Bae ATX served up delicious charcuterie boards, Perry Homes provided cookies for all to enjoy and we can't forget the snow cones which kept everyone a smidge cooler! A big thank you to the local Hays fire department for coming out with their big red fire engine and taking the time to meet with the residents of 6 Creeks.

We appreciate all of the business partners who came out to support their local community including Renewal by Andersen, Sparrow Living, Anthony & Sylvan Pools and Orangetheory Fitness. We look forward to seeing everyone on Friday, October 18th for Fall Fest, until then……

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
