4th of July Celebration, June 30, 2019

Recap

25 residents gathered at the park on a beautiful sunny Sunday evening donned in red, white and blue hats and waving American flags as they celebrated Independence Day!

The festivities kicked off with a meet and greet between residents and first responders. Firefighters from the local fire station were in attendance along with an EMS team and their ambulance. The fun continued as kids took part in a Hula Hoop contest and cooled down on a giant waterslide. Friendly competition was on display as residents competed in both a watermelon and pie-eating contest. Congratulations to Isaac for placing first in the watermelon eating contest and Asher for placing first in the pie-eating contest. If they weren’t full enough, there was free pizza and cold drinks for all to enjoy!

It was a wonderful day that brought to light what community is all about and we look forward to seeing everyone at future events. Until then…..

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
