Fall Fest, November 11, 2018

While there was sporadic rain to contend with on Sunday, it wasn’t enough to stop residents from gathering for their NabrHood’s Fall Fest. Nabrs gathered to listen to great music, enjoy some delicious burgers and spend time connecting with family and friends. It was a wonderful way to round out the weekend!

With their self proclaimed style of “Rock/Funk/Pop Hodgepodge of Americana Twangy goodness”, the band, Bag Lady, provided the perfect musical backdrop to an afternoon full of fun. Families boarded a colorful train for a ride around the NabrHood, balloon artists made magnificent balloon creations and face painters were kept busy transforming kids into whatever they could dream up including butterflies, snakes and even a whole family into ninja turtles! Kids enjoyed pony rides, tossing around the football and play fighting with their balloon swords.

Residents gathered around tables to enjoy hamburgers sizzled up on the grill courtesy of i8cow along with chips and cold drinks. Free microbrews provided by Rentsch Brewery were available to sample as well. It was a great opportunity for everyone to relax before the workweek and catch up with their Nabrs! We look forward to future events in the NabrHood, until then….
