Independence Day Celebration, Saturday, July 1st, 2023

Recap

Over 100 residents came out on a toasty Saturday morning to celebrate the July 4th holiday. It was a wonderful event that started out with a parade and ended with everyone gathering to partake in fun family activities, connect with their Nabrs and enjoy the long holiday weekend!

The festivities started with a parade around the block with residents representing the stars and stripes. Not only were people wearing patriotic items but they also decked out their bikes, wagons and golf carts in red, white and blue. As the parade wound down, the fun was just beginning with patriotic music, fun activities and yummy food.

Kids had a blast in Leo’s Kids Zone where they took part in a Hula Hoop challenge, ring toss games and had their pictures taken with American themed props. Both kids and adults took part in fun (and messy!) watermelon and pie eating contests while Nabrs cheered them on. Congrats to Elizabeth who won the pie eating contest two years running! Residents could also be found catching up with family and friends over breakfast tacos compliments of SaraMarie, HOA manager, and Real Manage, the management company, along with tasty teas from Tanglewood Nutrition. A big thank you to our business partner, Orange Theory Fitness, who raffled off free classes, and to all the Nabrs who came out to make this event such a blast!

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday, July 20th for a Concert in the Park, until then….

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
