40 residents came out on a toasty and sunny Saturday to kick off the 4th of July holiday with a pool party in Berdoll Farms. It was a wonderful afternoon full of holiday festivities, fun, family and friends!
With patriotic music, and bubbles filling the air, residents could be found catching up with their Nabrs under the shade of the pavilion and cooling off in the pool. Kids had a great time partaking in pool games, splashing around in the pool and showing off their dance skills both in and out of the water. Kids and adults took part in fun (and messy!) watermelon and pie eating contests while Nabrs cheered them on. A water balloon fight took place outside of the pool since we all know a hot summer day wouldn’t be complete without water balloons!
A big thank you to Renewal by Andersen as they helped everyone stay hydrated at the cool down station where they provided cold drinks including local Waterloo water. The local Austin fire department was also in attendance and took the time to hold a meet and greet with residents, give tours of their fire engine and take pictures with the kiddos. We truly appreciate everyone in the NabrHood who came out to make this event so much fun!
