Over 150 residents gathered to take part in Texas’ annual National Night Out event. The event had something for everyone from live music to delicious food to fun games. It was the perfect way to spend an evening in the Berdoll Farms NabrHood!
The Anders Drerup Band kept the energy high with their signature Americana sound, blending blues, country and rock & roll, while residents caught up with their Nabrs under the shade. While the calendar stated it was fall, the temps were still toasty which made the refreshing craft brews from local favorite, Family Business Brewing, perfect to enjoy under the fading sun. Kids had a wonderful time in the Kids Zone playing team games, showing off their Hula Hoop skills and chasing bubbles. The hit of the event was the dunk tank where kids and adults alike tested their aim.
A big thank you to the first responders, city council district representatives, the HOA board and Spectrum Management for coming out to meet and greet with residents. For those who worked up an appetite, there was a free pizza party and cold drinks to enjoy with Gold Star Kettle Corn serving up their tasty popcorn. The Cardinal Youth Football and Cheer teams brought the energy and showed off their dance moves in Leo’s Famous Dance Party.
Thank you to everyone who came out to make this event such a blast! We look forward to seeing you at future events, until then……
Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
