The residents of the Berdoll Farms NabrHood came out on a beautiful Friday evening for their National Night Out event. There was something for everyone including live music, fun activities, tasty treats and drinks, and most importantly great company. It was the perfect way to start off the weekend!
With the Raphina Austin providing the perfect backdrop with their signature sounds and bubbles filling the air, residents relaxed and caught up with their Nabrs over tasty craft beers and ciders from Austin Eastciders. Kids had a great time in Leo’s Kids Zone where they played the floor is lava, candy corn ring toss and took part in a chalk art contest. The crowd favorite was the Stopwatch Game where winners walked away with a free tour and tasting at Dripping Springs Vodka Distillery.
A big thank you to everyone who came out to make this event so much fun! The local constable held a meet and greet with residents and offered a hands-on tour of their car which was a hit with the kiddos. Austin Public Health gave out fun swag, Del Valle Community Coalition had a free grant of over $2,000 to hand out and Brenda, and the HOA, were there to connect with residents and pass out snacks and goodies The fun culminated in Leo’s Famous Dance Party where residents got on their feet and showed off their dance moves. It truly was a night of connection in the community!
It was a wonderful time and we look forward to everyone at future events, until then…..
