Over 200 residents of the Canyon Creek NabrHood gathered at the pool on Saturday evening to try and beat the heat. Both kids and adults stayed cool in the sparkling waters of the pool while playing fun games and catching up with Nabrs. It was the perfect way to spend part of the weekend and bid farewell to the lazy days of summer!
With hot hits playing in the background and bubbles filling the air, kiddos had a great time taking part in pool activities such as the hungry hippo relay race, underwater treasure hunt and catch the duck. Out of the pool there was an epic water balloon toss, summertime trivia and the backpack challenge. A big congrats to Mary Beth who won the backpack challenge, shattering the competition with a time of thirty-one seconds. To help keep everyone cool the Mr. Softee truck was on hand serving up tasty ice cream. The event culminated in a Dancin’ in the Water Dance Party where kids showed off their dance moves. We appreciate everyone who came out to make this event such a blast, especially Mary, the new social committee chair!
