Over 100 residents came out on a toasty and sunny Sunday to celebrate the 4th of July holiday with a pool party in Carmel Creek. It was a wonderful afternoon full of holiday festivities, fun, food, family and friends!
With patriotic music, and bubbles filling the air, residents could be found catching up with their Nabrs under the shade, lounging by the pool and cooling off in the water. Kids had a great time partaking in pool games (with the duck races being even more popular with the adults!), splashing around in the pool and showing off their dance skills both in and out of the water. Kids and adults took part in fun (and messy!) watermelon and pie eating contests while Nabrs cheered them on. For those who worked up an appetite, there were tasty food and dessert trucks to enjoy.
A big thank you to the local Hutto fire department as they joined in on festivities and took the time to hold a meet and greet with residents, give tours of their fire engine and take pictures with the kiddos. It was truly a great event where residents got to know each other better, visit with local first responders and enjoy a relaxing long weekend. We truly appreciate everyone in the NabrHood who came out to make this event so much fun!
We look forward to seeing ya’ll on Saturday, December 17th for Christmas with Santa, until then……
Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
