Food Truck Night, August 10, 2018

Recap

Even though the summer nights might be starting to cool off, the fun was heating up at August’s Circle C Food Truck Night! With 350 Nabrs in attendance it was a night to remember.

Cranking out upbeat tunes, the local Austin band, Bag Lady, provided the perfect musical backdrop for the evening. With school just around the corner, members of the Bowie HS marching band and color guard made an appearance getting everyone hyped up with school spirit. All the right notes were hit when both bands came together for an impromptu jam session blending the horns, woodwinds and brass of the marching band with the vocals, guitar and drums of Bag Lady. It was music to the ears of the Circle C NabrHood!

Kids had a great time using their imaginations crafting projects at the Wicked Workshops tent, having masterpieces created on their faces by a face painter provided by Renewal by Andersen and drawing works of art on tablecloths at the Blue Sky Family Dentistry table.

Adults had the opportunity to try delicious brews from Last Stand Brewing and crisp ciders from Argus Cidery. Waterloo Sparkling Water along with homemade lemonade provided by Veritas Academy and refreshing cucumber water was also available for all to enjoy.

It was truly a spectacular event, as residents came together as a community for a night of friends, family, food and fun. We can’t wait to see you at the next Food Truck Night on September 14th. Until then…..

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
