Halloween Party, October 29, 2018

Recap

Over 200 residents gathered Monday evening for a spooktacular time with their Nabrs at Boo Bash! With food, candy, games, a costume parade and dance party there was something for every goblin, big and little, to enjoy.

To kick off the fun, kids lined up for a costume parade where they showed off their creative costumes including an adorable Bazooka bubblegum, a sunglass wearing hotdog and an adventurous Indiana Jones.  It wasn’t just the kids who got all dressed up, adults partook in the fun as well with family themes such as cops and robbers, Wizard of Oz characters and circus performers. A special shout out to the HOA manager, Karen, who was dressed to impress as the Queen of Hearts, it was an amazing costume! Afterwards, there was candy to be eaten and games to be played. Kids could be found creating chalk monsters on the pavement, guessing which hat the candy was hiding under in Which Witch and collecting candy from the tents of local businesses.

While Halloween candy is tasty, there were also other food options for everyone to enjoy. From Evil Weiner to Chick-Fil-A to Gold Star Kettle Corn, there was something for every palette. Thank you to Adelbert’s Brewery for providing free fall microbrews for adults to sample. The night ended with a Halloween dance party featuring glow sticks, spooky fog and Halloween hits! Kids and adults harnessed their inner MJ moves to “Thriller” and boogied down to “Monster Mash”. Thank you to everyone who dressed up and came out for a night of fun in the NabrHood! We can’t wait to see everyone on November 9th for the monthly Food Truck Night, until then…..

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
