Food Truck Night, November 9, 2018

Recap

With a chill in the air, residents donned their puffy coats, colorful scarves and cozy boots for Friday’s Food Truck Night! To keep warm, there were delicious food trucks to try, fun family activities and a fitness expo for residents to take part in.

As music videos played on the big screen, Orangetheory Fitness led two fitness demonstrations, one for kids and one for adults, which got everyone’s blood pumping. They also provided free jump ropes to help everyone along on their fitness journeys. Kuk Sool Won of Oak Hill Martial Arts was also in attendance and demonstrated moves proving that martial arts is a great way to stay in shape for people of all ages. Kids had fun in the Kid’s Zone where they came up with amazing chalk creations on the pavement, competed in hula hoop competitions and had a great time “catching” bubbles!

Even though it was cold out, residents could still be found enjoying ice cream from the Good Times ice cream truck along with delectable noodles from DFG, yummy kettle corn from Gold Star Kettle Corn and delicious eats from all of the other amazing food trucks. One perk of the cold weather was that the free microbrews provided by Vista Brewing Co. stayed nice and chilled!

Thank you to everyone who braved the chilly temps for the final Food Truck Night of the year in the NabrHood. We can’t wait to see everyone in 2019, until then…

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
