April Food Truck Night, April 12, 2019

With spring officially sprung, hundreds of Nabrs gathered on a Friday evening to enjoy Food Truck Night. This month featured local non-profits committed to providing education, services and resources to residents of the Circle C NabrHood and the city of Austin. It was an amazing night spent learning about the missions of the non-profits, connecting with local businesses, eating some tasty food, taking part in fun games and of course catching up with Nabrs!

Families found seats at tables, along with spreading out their blankets and chairs under trees, and grabbed some tasty food to enjoy. In addition to the delectable food truck options, HappiFamli was serving up pizza and pop for a cause. All of the proceeds from the sale of pizza went directly to non-profits in the area making it taste even more delicious! Adults also had the opportunity to sample refreshing craft beer courtesy of NXNW.

As always, there was plenty of fun to be had including a bubble zone set up by Blue Sky Family Dentistry, Leo’s Fun Zone where there were games and activities for kids and of course the ultimate dance party. With DJ Crash providing the backdrop of beats, kids came out to prove who had the best moves in the NabrHood. The night ended with an intense dance off of boys vs. girls with some impressive moves on display. Check out the video on Facebook here!
