Happy Hour, February 8, 2019

With cold temps, rain and even some ice pellets coming down, 40 residents kept warm as they gathered in the Community Center on Friday evening for a fun filled Happy Hour! It was the perfect night to stay indoors, grab a drink, play some games and connect with Nabrs.

There were plenty of tasty drinks to be sampled including crisp ciders courtesy of Argus Cidery, delicious brews provided by Last Stand Brewing, tasty cocktails featuring Revolution Spirits Gin and refreshing wines served up by Solaro Estate Winery. Mama Fu’s was on hand to dish up scrumptious Asian comfort food for all to enjoy.

In addition to the sampling of delicious food and drinks, there were fun games to partake in including trivia and the ultra competitive Elephant Trunk Relay Race! Residents showed off their speed, agility and precision skills by attempting to knock over water bottles with a tennis ball affixed to their head with pantyhose (it’s something you have to see to believe so check out the video below!). Thank you to Steven Prescott, a Circle C resident who hosts Life Lessons Over Lunch, as he presented the winning team with a $50 gift card.

It was a great evening of catching up with familiar faces and getting to know new Nabrs! We look forward to seeing everyone this Saturday, February 16^th for an activity-filled Kids Play Day! Until then…..
