Recap

Over 50 residents gathered to take part in Texas’ annual National Night Out event. The event had something for everyone from live music to fun games to meeting first responders. It was the perfect way to spend an evening in the Crystal Crossing NabrHood!

The Chris Bell Band kept the energy high with their amazing guitar skills, while residents relaxed and caught up with their Nabrs. While the calendar stated it was fall, the temps were still toasty which made the refreshing craft brews from local favorite, Rentsch Brewing, perfect to enjoy under the fading sun. Kids had a wonderful time in the Kids Zone competing in relay races, showing off their Hula Hoop skills, tossing around a football and chasing bubbles.

A big thank you to the first responders, including the fire department, police department and animal control, who came out to hold a meet and greet with the residents. The star of the night was McGruff the Crime Dog who took pictures with kiddos and even got up with the band! Thank you to everyone who came out to make this event such a blast.

We look forward to seeing you at future events, until then……

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
