Fall Fest, November 17, 2019

With beautiful weather and a wonderful group of Nabrs, this year's Fall Fest and Chili Cook-Off was a huge success! 125 residents came out to the park to bask in the perfect autumn weather, enjoy tasty chili, play fun games and catch up with their Nabrs.

Kiddos enjoyed bouncing to their heart’s content on the trampoline provided by Springfree Trampoline, competing in a friendly game of Rock, Paper, Scissors and testing their accuracy skills in a football toss. There was an all kid foot race where 11 year old Travis ran away with the title of the fastest kid in the NabrHood! Adults enjoyed a refreshing craft beer tasting courtesy of Freetail Brewing along with some tasty fall craft cocktails.

The highlight of the event was the NabrHood chili cook-off where 3 residents competed for the title of best chili. 3 very different, and very delicious, chili recipes were entered into the competition – a veggie chili, a chicken chili and a classic beef chili. After a lot of tasting and deliberation, Angela was declared chili champ – congrats Angela!! Gold Star was on hand offering the perfect pairing to the chili with their sweet snack of yummy kettle corn. It was a great day where Nabrs connected, catching up with old friends and making new ones.
