Polar Plunge, Saturday, January 28th, 2023

Both kids and adults braved the frigid water to take part in Enclave at Estancia’s 2023 Polar Plunge. The pool committee, made up of Evan and Tannifer, did a wonderful job getting the pool "polar plunge" ready! It was the perfect way to start off the new year. 

There was slight trepidation in the air as residents took the initial plunge into the cold water but everyone came out feeling refreshed and energized. The piping hot cocoa and coffee along with tasty donuts and cookies, courtesy of Mindy Suggs, helped warm everyone up! The excitement didn’t end when the plunge was over, in fact it was just beginning, with residents taking part in fun games and activities. There was a showdown of the classic game, Rock, Paper, Scissors, where Elizabeth took home a $25 Armadillo Den gift card, the Rubber Duck Race which Promise won and the winners for Best NabrHood Robe were the Esparzas. Orangetheory Fitness made sure no one walked away empty handed, giving away beach balls and other fun prizes.

A big shout out to Cora and Finley who rang in their sixth birthday, it was a blast celebrating with you! We appreciate everyone who came out to make this day such a great time. We look forward to seeing everyone at future events this year, until then……
