National Night Out, October 2, 2019

Recap

Over 100 residents gathered on a warm Wednesday evening to take part in National Night Out. It was a night full of fun, food, family and friends!

The special guests of the evening were firefighters from the Pflugerville Fire Department. Kids had a blast touring the bright red fire truck while adults enjoyed chatting with their local first responders. A big thank you to the local fire department for explaining all they do to serve the residents of the Estates of Blackhawk NabrHood.

The excitement didn’t stop there! Residents took part in an ice cream cone relay won by Team Black Knights, a game of Name That Tune where the Purple People Eaters proved their music prowess and a dance party that had everyone showing off their dance moves. Residents enjoyed free pizza while catching up with their Nabr and making new friends. A special shout out to Samantha who was awarded Nabr of the Night for her abundant enthusiasm, participation in all of the night’s activities and even helping to clean up!

Thank you to all who came out to help build community in the NabrHood. We look forward to seeing everyone at future events, until then……

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
