Recap

Over 80 residents gathered on a beautiful Wednesday evening to take part in the Estates of Blackhawk National Night Out event. It was a night full of fun, food, family and friends!

The special guests of the evening were the Pflugerville Fire Department who showed up with their bright red fire engine and an ambulance for kids to take tours of. The Fire Chief, Battalion Chief, eight firefighters and police officers along with a county representative took the time for a meet and greet with residents. The firefighters also took on residents in a bounce in the bucket challenge with the residents coming out victorious.

With the Blevins band providing the perfect backdrop with their upbeat music, residents could be found relaxing and enjoying the live performance under the shade of the tents. Kids had a great time in the Kids Zone where they took part in activities such as Bounce in the Bucket, a Hula Hoop Challenge and competed to be the last one sitting in musical chairs. Adults had fun getting to know their Nabrs by playing “What We Have In Common” while sipping on refreshing local craft beer courtesy of Rentsch Brewery.

For those who had worked up an appetite, Crepe Crazy was on hand serving up their tasty fare, Tropical Sno cooled everyone off with fruity snow cones and Greenbelt Kombucha passed out their delicious craft kombucha . The evening culminated with Leo’s Dance Party where kids and adults alike had the opportunity to show off their amazing dance skills. Thank you to all who came out to make it a fantastic evening!

We look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday, December 19th for a Holiday Movie, until then…..

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
