Over 200 residents gathered at the park on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon to enjoy the Spring Fling Celebration. From pony rides to tasty treats to great music, there was something for everyone!
Animal lovers enjoyed the petting zoo where they had the opportunity to hold and pet a variety of animals including goats, bunnies and even lizards along with taking pony rides through the park. For the art lovers, there was a balloon artist making amazing balloon creations and a face painter designing spring inspired art including flowers and rainbows. Both kids and adults took part in some friendly competition in the Potato Sack Race and Chunkin’ Chicken Contest where The Reb Reb Rebels and The Poopin’ Chickens reigned victorious.
Adults enjoyed relaxing in the shade and catching up with their Nabrs while sipping tasty craft brews courtesy of Steve from Family Business Beer Company. Everyone kept cool with ice cream, shaved ice and other cool treats provided by Austin Scoops. It truly was a fun filled afternoon in the Falconhead NabrHood.
