Concert in the Park, Thursday, June 23rd, 2022

Recap

Over 100 residents gathered at the park on Thursday evening to listen to live music, partake in some delicious food and catch up with their Nabrs. Even though it was a toasty evening, residents had it made in the shade under the canopy of beautiful park trees as they sipped on refreshing cold drinks.

The event had something for everyone. For live music fans, the band, Blevins, played their signature upbeat tunes for all to enjoy.  Kids had a wonderful time at Leo’s Kids Zone where they hopped along in sack races, competed for last one sitting in musical chairs, showed off their hula hoop skills and aimed for the bullseye in Chunkin Chicken. Adults had a great time catching up with their Nabrs over local craft brews courtesy of Family Business Brewing under the South Austin Beer Garden (SABG) tent where they put their trivia skills to the test to win SABG gift cards. For those who worked up an appetite there was tasty food served up by Sophie’s Kitchen to fill up on. A big thank you to Renewal By Andersen for keeping everyone cool at the hydration station where they served up refreshing Waterloo water. The event was capped off with Leo’s Famous Dance Party with residents showing off their impressive dance moves including kids doing cartwheels and flips to the music of the Blevins.

We appreciate everyone who came out to make this event a blast! We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, September 10th for Fall Fest, until then….

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
