With fall just around the corner, over 100 residents gathered at the park to enjoy Falconhead’s Fall Fest. The afternoon had something for everyone from live music to friendly competition to fun games. It was the perfect way to bid farewell to the lazy days of summer and welcome in the new season!
The Anders Drerup Band kept the energy high throughout the event with their signature Americana sound, blending blues, country and rock & roll. Kids had a great time seeing who the last one sitting would be in musical chairs, showing off their skills in a Hula Hoop showdown and competing in relay races. Adults enjoyed catching up with Nabrs over refreshing craft beer courtesy of Frontyard Brewing.
The highlight of the event was the NabrHood Chili Cook-Off. There were four residents who entered their delicious chili recipes into the cook-off and boy was it a tight competition! With only one vote separating the winner from the rest of the pack, Britteny walked away with a cash prize and the title of the 2022 Chili Champ of Falconhead. Congrats to Bryan for coming in second and to all of the chefs for sharing their tasty chili with the NabrHood!
