4th of July Celebration, June 30, 2018

Recap

It may not have been July 4th but the Forest Oaks residents partied like it was Independence Day. Kids and adults brought their bikes, scooters and other transportation vehicles- all decked out in their red, white and blue- to ride in the Fourth of July Parade.

When returning from the bike parade route the HelloNabr team members handed out cold lemonade and watermelon. DJ Will played Patriotic music over the loudspeakers as the kids played on the bounce house and had their faces painted by Renewal by Anderson.

Inside the community center, we had a pie contest with four participants. The residents that were 16 years and older were able to try each one of the contestant's pie and vote for their favorite. At the end of the event, we announced the winners and Julie handed out the awards.

We can't wait to see y'all at the next event on August 15th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for Winedown Wednesday.

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
