Bakyard Olympiks, April 16, 2018

Recap

Forest Oaks residents came out to enjoy some good old-fashioned fun on Sunday afternoon at our Bakyard Olympiks- six teams, five events and two hours of friendly competition. There were several kids teams with ages ranging from 3 to 12-years-old; the first team in each event received a gold medal while the other participants got a goodie bag.

In the adult division, the top three teams in each event qualified for our citywide Bakyard Olympiks on May 20th.  The teams were constructed of wives versus husbands, kids versus parents and even friends versus friends. Julie and Rosalyn won first place in two events- Bounce in tha Bucket and Chunkin' Chicken- much to their husbands' dismay 🙂 Jeff and Itay, though a little late to the party, ended up with two wins- Kick the Bowl and Waterballon Toss. Blake and Brett took home first in the fifth event, Saucer Tosser.

The beer was flowing with our FREE microbrew tasting. Who Wants 2nds? also attended the event to serve their delicious sandwiches and quesadillas.

Another beautiful Sunday is in the books. We are looking forward to our next event at Forest Oaks but until then...

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
