Oaktoberfest, October 18, 2019

Recap

Over 75 residents gathered at the community center to celebrate Oktoberfest. Nabrs had a great time listening to live music, enjoying tasty food and spending time with family and friends. It was a wonderful way to kick off the weekend!

Austin Polka Band set the tone for a great time with their traditional German-style and polka music. There was delicious German cuisine provided by Evil Weiner including brats and sauerkraut, potato salad and giant pretzels. Adults enjoyed a tasty microbrew tasting courtesy of Rentsch Brewery including their seasonal Oktoberfest beer. To get in the spirit of the real Oktoberfest, there were Oktoberfest decorations, white and blue color scheme and a fun photo area giving residents the chance to feel as though they were actually in the Munich Kids played games outside with giant inflatable beer mugs and danced along to the live music.

Thank you to all who came out to help build the community! We look forward to seeing everyone on Friday, December 13th for Christmas Magic, until then…….

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
