July 4th Celebration, Sunday, July 3rd, 2022

Recap

Over 100 residents came out on a sunny Sunday to celebrate the 4th of July holiday in the Forest Oaks NabrHood. It was a wonderful afternoon full of holiday festivities, fun, food, family and friends!

With patriotic music, and bubbles filling the air, residents could be found catching up with their Nabrs under the shade, lounging by the pool and cooling off in the water. Kids had a great time partaking in pool games such as Find the Treasure, Over Under and Put A Ring On It along with competing in watermelon and pie eating contests. A big thank you to the HOA for serving up tasty hot dogs and Renewal by Andersen for providing refreshing local Waterloo water.

The residents of the NabrHood also took part in a bicycle-decorating contest where they decked out their bikes in an array of red, white and blue – there were so many cool bikes on display! The Cedar Park fire department also joined in on the festivities, taking time to hold a meet and greet with residents and allowing people to take pictures with festive props in front of the bright red fire engine. It was truly a great event where residents got to know each other better, visit with local first responders and enjoy a relaxing long weekend. We truly appreciate everyone in the NabrHood who came out to make this event so much fun!

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday, October 23rd for the Halloween Boo Bash, until then….

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
