What a beautiful day to spend outside at the park! Over 50 residents came out to enjoy "Spring Fling- A Bug's Life" on Sunday afternoon. The event kicked off with a bug hunt where kids gathered in groups as they raced around the park to find the coolest insect.
Other activities included a bug bin, giant bubble zone, hula hoop contest and butterfly catch game. Several of the kiddos took part in the Creepy Crawly Chalk Zone where they drew their favorite type of bug. The fun wrapped up with residents making bird feeders for the kids to put in their yards at home.
We are looking forward to Green Meadows Nation Night Out on October 1st. We'll see y'all then!
