Over 200 residents came out on a frigid Saturday morning to celebrate the holiday season with their Nabrs. Even though it was a cold one, everyone stayed warm by bundling up in their warmest winter gear, gathering around the heaters and sipping on delicious hot chocolate. Besides it was the perfect climate for the star of the show, Santa!
Santa and his friendly elf had a wonderful time meeting the residents of the NabrHood and taking pictures with kids and families in front of a festively decorated backdrop. After meeting Mr. Claus, kiddos walked away with candy canes filled with M&Ms and smiles on their faces. They also created one of a kind ornaments at the craft table, wrote notes for Santa to read on his way back to the North Pole and enjoyed holiday themed balloon creations courtesy of the talented balloon artist, Jack Byrd. For those who worked up an appetite, there were festively decorated cookies, tasty breakfast tacos and delicious donuts to enjoy along with steaming cups of hot chocolate.
The Greenridge HOA sponsored a holiday raffle with over 50 amazing prizes! With so many prizes, winners were announced every few minutes having everyone waiting in anticipation to hear their name called. Up for grabs were gift cards to local businesses, boys and girls bikes and even a 50” 4K HD television. There were a lot of smiling faces walking away with some awesome gifts. A big thank you to the HOA for spreading the holiday cheer!
It was a wonderful way to start of the weekend and get in the Christmas spirit! We look forward to more fun events in the New Year, until then…..
