Over 100 residents of the Highlands at Mayfield Park NabrHood gathered at the pool on Saturday afternoon to try and beat the heat. Both kids and adults stayed cool in the sparkling waters of the pool while playing fun games and catching up with Nabrs. It was the perfect way to spend part of the weekend!
With hot hits playing in the background and bubbles filling the air, kiddos had a great time taking part in pool activities such as sharks & minnows, relay races and a treasure hunt. Kids got ready for back to school time with the Get Ready for School race and the Backpack Challenge where Grace was crowned the winner. There was also a fun trivia challenge where residents showed off their summertime knowledge, congrats to Hoi and Max for laying claim to trivia champs. To keep cool, Nabs enjoyed Texas born Blue Bell ice cream with a variety of tasty toppings. Rounding out the event were two water balloon toss contests, with Manan and Lincoln successfully making it all the way to the end, and a dance party which had everyone on their feet.
