Over 100 residents of Highlands at Mayfield Ranch gathered on an overcast Saturday evening for a Cinco de Mayo Celebration. It was a great event filled with fun activities, tasty treats, delicious drinks and most importantly great company!
With fiesta inspired music and bubbles filling in the air, adults enjoyed catching up with their Nabrs while sipping on hand crafted pomegranate jalapeno margaritas and an assortment of refreshing beers. Kids took part in a Hula Hoop challenge, relay races and a scavenger hunt while JellyBean, the face painter, and Jack, the balloon artist, created amazing art for all the kids to enjoy. And Lesley had residents on their feet as she led everyone in a conga line!
Thank you to our business partners, Renewal by Andersen and Mayfield Ranch Dental, who handed out free tickets for tasty snow cones by Tropical Sno. The fun culminated in a piñata bust where kids put their swinging skills to the test to see who could crack open the piñata first and discover the treasures inside. It was a wonderful way to round out the weekend!
We look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday, June 22nd at the Hawaiian Luau, until then…..
