Over 125 residents of Highlands at Mayfield Ranch gathered to welcome in the spring season and create amazing chalk art on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Nabrs enjoyed live music, spring games, tasty treats and most importantly great company. It was a wonderful way to spend part of the weekend!
The all star studded band Durawa featuring Alan Haynes played their signature sound as bubbles filled the air, setting the scene for fun! Kids had a great time taking part in games such as the floor is lava, butterfly catch, hula hoop challenge and the always popular giant parachute game. There were plenty of goody bags full of prizes up for grabs! Adults competed in a corn hole challenge sponsored by Renewal by Andersen while sipping on refreshing ciders courtesy of Austin East Ciders and Troy Aikmen’s Elite Eight Light Lager craft beer. Team J&J laid claim to the title of cornhole champs and walked away with a free tour and tasting to Dripping Springs Vodka.
The highlight of the event was the Chalk Walk Art Contest where residents showed off their amazing chalk art creations. Congratulations to the Vaidya family who were declared winners. A big thank you to Mayfield Ranch Dental for providing them with great gift cards along with providing everyone with sweet treats and water to enjoy. For those who worked up an appetite, Donut NV was serving up fresh made donuts with unique toppings and tasty drinks. Thank you to all who came out to make this event such a success!
