Labor Day Pool Party & Back to School Bash, September 1, 2018

Labor Day signifies the unofficial end of summer break with both kids and adults looking ahead to the new school year. This past Saturday, 100 residents came out to bid farewell to the lazy days of summer and welcome in the 2018/19 school year. What better way to celebrate than with a splashtastic pool party!

While hot summer beats played in the background, kids put their leaping and catching abilities to the test with a pool football toss. Let's just say some pro worthy catches were made! There was also a hula-hoop contest and games of ring toss being played with awesome prizes being won. Adults cheered them on from poolside seats while catching up with their Nabrs. After enjoying the afternoon rays, everyone was ready for some refreshing beverages and food with free Rentsch Brewery on tap for adults and Waterloo Sparkling Water, soda and pizza for all.

For those who wanted to keep the fun going, there was a bounce house to exert all their extra energy and a dance party to show off their fancy dance moves. It was the perfect way to welcome in the new season! We look forward to seeing everyone on October 20^th for the Fall Fest/Halloween Party. Until then…..
