4th of July Celebration, July 4th, 2019

Recap

125 residents came out to celebrate Independence Day on a warm July 4th morning!

A bicycle parade, led by the Lake Travis Fire Department, kicked off the festivities. Bikes were decked out with red, white and blue, participants rocked the stars and stripes from their shirts to their socks and American flags were proudly waving. Patriotism was definitely in the air!

Once the parade concluded, everyone headed back to the amenity center to continue the fun. Firefighters chatted with residents and extended the fire engine ladder as high as it would go much to the delight of the kiddos! There were also 2 bounce houses and games for kids to partake in including a marshmallow toss and Hula Hoop contest. Everyone kicked off their morning right with free donuts and coffee from Shiply Do-Nuts. With July 4th themed music playing in the background, it was a wonderful morning that brought together residents of the Lake Pointe community.

Thank you to everyone who came out to spend part of their holiday celebrating with us! We look forward to seeing everyone on Friday, August 16th for the Dive In Movie. Until then….

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
