Breakfast with Santa, Saturday, December 11th, 2021

With temperatures finally feeling like winter, the NabrHood of Lake Pointe was ready to welcome in the holiday season! Almost 500 residents gathered on a chilly Saturday morning for their annual Breakfast with Santa event. Christmas cheer was in the air as Nabrs enjoyed holiday music, a tasty breakfast, festive activities and meeting the guests of honor, Mr. & Mrs. Claus.

With Aaron Lack and his Steel Pan Band playing holiday classics, the stage was set for fun. Kids had a great time at the arts and crafts station where they wrote thank you letters to Santa and colored Christmas ornaments. At the petting zoo a variety of animals, from goats to ducks to chickens, basked in the attention of the little ones and for the adventurous bunch there were even pony rides around the park. To top off the excitement, children walked away with magical balloon creations including presents and candy canes.

Residents enjoyed delicious breakfast tacos, Shipley donuts, juice and coffee. At the hot chocolate bar, residents had the opportunity to create their own unique cocoa concoctions with caramel, peppermint, cinnamon and sprinkles along with enjoying tasty holiday cookies. Inside the amenity center, Mr.& Mrs. Claus sat by the fireplace and Christmas tree where they took photos with the families of the Lake Pointe NabrHood. Outside, members of the Lake Travis Fire Rescue met with residents and showed off their bright red fire engine and even gave tours of their truck.

It was a wonderful event that got everyone in the holiday spirit! We look forward to seeing everyone in the new year, until then…….
