July 4th Celebration, Monday, July 4th, 2022

Recap

Over 300 residents came out on a warm Monday morning to celebrate the July 4th holiday. It was a wonderful event that started out with a parade and ended with everyone gathering to partake in fun family activities, connect with their Nabrs and enjoy the long holiday weekend!

The festivities started with a walking parade, led by Leo the Dancing Machine, through the Lake Pointe NabrHood with residents representing the stars and stripes. Not only were people wearing patriotic items but they also decked out their bikes, wagons and golf carts in red, white and blue. The route ended at the park where patriotic music was playing and more fun awaited everyone.

Kids had a blast jumping around in the bounce house, taking turns going down the enormous inflatable slide, chasing bubbles and taking pictures with American themed props. Both kids and adults took part in fun (and messy!) watermelon and pie eating contests while Nabrs cheered them on. Residents could also be found catching up with family and friends over donuts, coffee and juice boxes. The event culminated with a Patriotic Dance Party featuring Leo and the dancers of Lake Pointe.

Thank you to everyone who came out to make the event such a success. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, August 6th for a Pool Party, until then….

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
