100 residents gathered on a toasty summer Texas evening for Northstar’s End of Summer Blues on the Green. The event had something for everyone from live music to delicious food to fun games. It was the perfect way to bid farewell to the lazy days of summer!
Live music fans enjoyed the signature soulful sound of 80H Project as they kept the party rockin’ throughout the evening. With bubbles creating the perfect backdrop, there was a ton of fun to be had. Nabrs took part in games such as Jenga, Bizz Buzz and the classic card game, War along with competing in a Backyard Olympiks Contest, which brought out the competitive (friendly of course!) side of residents. Of the three events, Chunkin’ Chicken, Elephant Trunk Relay Race and Cornhole, Al and Karen took home the gold medal in two of the three events. They definitely earned the title of Olympik Champs of the Northstar Community!
For those who worked up an appetite, Sophie’s Kitchen served up made-to -order food for all to enjoy and Rentsch Brewery provided tasty local craft beers. It was truly a wonderful evening full of fun, food and community. Thank you to everyone who came out to make this event such a success!
