National Night Out, September 27, 2019

Recap

Over 100 residents braved the record breaking heat and gathered at the park to take part in the National Night Out event on a toasty Friday evening. It was a night full of fun, food, family and friends!

The special guests of the evening were first responders from the Leander Police and Fire Department. Kids had a blast touring the bright red fire truck while residents enjoyed chatting with their local first responders. A big thank you to the first responders for explaining all you do to serve the members of the Oak Creek NabrHood.

The excitement didn’t stop there! There was live music by Dr. D and the Groove, a water balloon toss where Amelia and Huggins walked away victorious and a refreshing craft beer tasting featuring 2 types of microbrews courtesy of Two Wheel Brewery. For those who worked up an appetite, Red, White & QUE was on hand serving up delicious BBQ. It was a great evening of residents catching up with Nabrs and making new friends.

Thank you to all who came out to kick off the weekend right! We look forward to seeing everyone at future events, until then……

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
