National Night Out/ Fall Festival, October 7, 2018

Recap

Even though temps neared 90 degrees on Sunday, that fall feeling was still in the air as 80 Nabrs gathered for their NabrHood Fall Fest. The Devan Jones Band played their laid back Chicago Blues style music as residents caught up with friends, played fun games and enjoyed some delicious food.

There is no better indicator of fall than pumpkins, which is what residents played with as they challenged each other to games of life size tic-tac-toe. Spectacular catches were made in football toss, kids lined up to jump around in the bouncy house and impressive hula-hoop skills were on display. For those who came with an appetite, yummy food was found at RWB Chow Bus and Good Times Ice Cream Truck with adults enjoying a free Adelbert's Brewery microbrew tasting.

A big thank you to the local fire department for coming out with their fire engine and connecting with the community! We look forward to seeing everyone again at the Christmas with Santa event on December 9th, until then……

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
