July 4th Parade, Sunday, July 4th

Recap

The potential of a little rain wasn’t going to keep the Oak Parke NabrHood from celebrating the July 4th holiday. Even though the forecast called for showers, we were able to dodge the rain and gather together to kick off the holiday!

In honor of Independence Day, both parade participants and spectators could be found dressed in patriotic red, white and blue. With the Austin Fire Department leading the way, the parade made its way through the streets with patriotic music playing, American flags waving and bubbles filling the air. Afterwards kiddos were able to tour a real fire engine and meet the firefighters. Thank you to everyone who came out to say hello to their Nabrs and make the event so much fun!

We look forward to seeing ya’ll on Saturday, August 14th for Dive In Movie night, until then…..

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
