On a beautiful Sunday afternoon, over 80 residents of the Oak Parke NabrHood gathered to celebrate the holiday season! It was a wonderful event which featured live music, fun activities and most importantly great company.
With holiday music filling the air courtesy of Haley Anna, the stage was set for fun. Kids had a great time at the arts and crafts station where they wrote thank you cards for Santa. Everyone enjoyed creating unique cocoa concoctions with caramel, peppermint, cinnamon and sprinkles along with tasty cookies at the hot chocolate bar.
Of course no holiday event would be complete without a special visitor from the North Pole, Santa Claus! Santa met with kiddos, hearing what they hoped for under the tree and took pictures with them and their families. Besides Santa, kids enjoyed having their picture taken with Cuddly Bear and his friends surrounded by Texas snow (aka bubbles!). A big thank you to Orangetheory Fitness for coming out to support the local community and raffling off free classes. We appreciate everyone who came out to spread holiday cheer!
