Easter Eggstravaganza, Saturday, April 1st, 2023

Over 50 residents of the Oak Parke NabrHood gathered on a beautiful Saturday morning for some Easter fun! It was the perfect opportunity to celebrate the upcoming holiday, spend time with family and catch up with friends.

The guest of honor was none other than the Easter Bunny himself! With floppy ears, a cute button nose and a fluffy tail, kids were able to take pictures with him in front of a festive spring backdrop. For the main event, the much-anticipated Easter Egg Hunt, kiddos searched for colorful eggs according to their age group and traded them in for goody bags full of treats handed out by River City Wellness. Kids had a great time taking part in the Bunny Ears game and the Hula Hoop Olympics while both kids and adults had a blast competing in an egg toss contest. A huge shout to Tanglewood Nutrition for providing coupons and gift cards to their locally owned store, Manchaca Vet for being there for the furry friends of the NabrHood (including the Easter Bunny!) and Renewal by Andersen for coming out to support the community.
