The residents of Oaks at San Gabriel gathered at the pool on a beautiful Friday evening for a Hawaiian Luau Pool Party. While the calendar states that it is officially fall, the weather still feels like summer making an evening at the pool a perfect way to start off the weekend. There was something for everyone including live music, tasty food, fun games and most importantly great company!
With the Aaron Lack Trio playing traditional Hawaiian music and residents being greeted with leis and a ukulele player upon entering the festivities, the island vibe was in the air. Kiddos had a great time taking part in pool activities such a treasure hunt, duck blast, sharks & minnows and a ring grab. Adults enjoyed Hawaiian inspired craft cocktails while they caught up with their Nabrs, learned how to Hula dance and showed off their limbo skills. For those who worked up an appetite, Hawaii Nei served up delicious Hawaiian fare and Gypsy Ice kept everyone cool with refreshing shaved ice. Thank you to all who came out to make this event so much fun!
