Oaktoberfest, October 13. 2019

Recap

Over 250 residents gathered at the amenity center to celebrate Red Oaks annual Oaktoberfest. Nabrs had a great time listening to live music, enjoying tasty food and spending time with family and friends. It was a wonderful way to wrap up the weekend!

Austin Polka Band set the tone for fun with their traditional German style/polka music and even led residents in the Chicken Dance! Kids enjoyed jumping around in a bounce house, riding a real pony through the NabrHood and having their faces painted (thank you to Renewal by Andersen for sponsoring!) while adults relaxed with a delicious microbrew tasting provided by Rentsch Brewery.

There was also some friendly competition on display in the cone toss contest where Team Evil Wiener were declared champs. Nabrs spent time catching up with family and friends while enjoying tasty brats, potato salad and hot dogs served up by Evil Wiener. It was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon in the NabrHood!

Thank you to all who came out to help build community. We look forward to seeing everyone at future events, until then…….

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
