Oakstoberfest, Sunday, October 9th

Recap

Over 100 residents gathered at the amenity center to ring in the fall season at Red Oaks Oakstoberfest. The event had something for everyone from live music to tasty food to fun activities. It was a wonderful way to spend a beautiful Saturday afternoon!

The German Polka Band set the perfect backdrop for an afternoon full of fun and celebration. While the calendar stated it was fall, the temps were still toasty which made the refreshing craft brews from local favorite, Rentsch Brewing, perfect to enjoy while catching up with Nabrs on a sunny afternoon. Kids had a wonderful time in the Kids Zone jumping around in the giant bounce house, taking part in the bungee challenge, playing Hot Lava, finding Mr. Bones and chasing around bubbles.

For those who worked up an appetite, there was free pizza and cold drinks to enjoy along with delicious Gold Star Kettle Corn. This event has been a cornerstone of the Red Oaks community for over a decade and we truly appreciate everyone who came out to make it such a success. We can’t wait to see everyone on Saturday, December 17th for the Christmas Magic event.

Until then……

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
