NNO Pool Party, Tuesday, August 1st, 2023

Recap

Over 100 Nabrs gathered at the pool on a toasty Tuesday evening to take part in Red Oak’s National Night Out event. While the temps were still over 100 degrees, the sun was taking a break leaving residents made in the shade! It was a night full of fun, food and community.

With the band, 80H Project, providing the perfect backdrop with their signature tunes, residents could be found relaxing and enjoying the live performance while sipping on a tasty craft cocktail featuring the TX Paloma. The special guests of the evening were local first responders from various departments including the police and sheriff units, SWAT, animal rescue, the Cedar Park Citizen’s Patrol along with city council members. It was a wonderful opportunity for Nabrs and those who serve the community to get to know each other better.

The hit of the event was the watermelon eating contest which was divided into two categories, kids and adults. In the adult division, first responders even got in on the fun while Nabrs cheered them on. Kids had a wonderful time staying cool in the pool and taking part in fun pool games led by Leo and both kids and adults took part in a good old fashioned water balloon toss. For those who had worked up an appetite Energy One Windows handed out free meal tickets to be used at the featured food truck, ATX Fire, along with Target gift cards courtesy of the HOA. Thank you to all who came out to make it a fantastic evening!

We look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday, October 1st for Oakstoberfest, until then…..

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
