Fall Fest, November 3, 2018

After numerous wet weekends, the rain finally stayed away and the sun shined brightly on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon. It was the perfect opportunity for over 100 residents to kick back and relax at their NabrHood Fall Fest.

The real stars of the show were of the furry and feathery variety. In attendance were goats, chickens, pigs and bunnies that the kiddos were able to feed, play with and pet. They loved getting up close and personal with the barnyard buddies and the animals loved all of the attention. And that was just the beginning of the exciting activities!

There were two bounce houses available for kids to jump around in, one with basketball hoops and a slide for an extra element of fun. A face painter took creative requests and there were carnival games, including Plinko, Fish in a Bucket, Frisbee Toss, Balance Ball and a ginormous Connect 4, to be played and awesome prizes to be won!! Adults had a great time as well, relaxing on a beautiful day and catching up with their Nabrs while enjoying free refreshing brews courtesy of Rentsch Brewery and tasty Waterloo Sparking Water.

With upbeat music providing the perfect backdrop and delicious funnel cakes available, it was the perfect way to spend the afternoon! We look to future events in the NabrHood, until then…..
