National Night Out, October 3, 2018

Recap

There is no better way to break up the week than with a night out which was perfect since Wednesday was Ridgeview’s National Night Out event. Over 70 residents gathered to mingle with Nabrs, meet the Oak Hill Fire department and listen to some great music courtesy of The Chris Castaneda Project.

Kids could be found playing tic-tac-toe with fall pumpkins, perfecting their accuracy skills with corn hole and bounce in the bucket and displaying their spinning prowess in a hula hoop contest. Adults grabbed a seat and caught up with Nabrs over tasty North by Northwest microbrews and Waterloo Sparkling Water.

Serving the Oak Hill area since 1968, the fire department showed up in style in their bright red fire engine. They had red plastic fire helmets for kids to wear, gave tours of the fire truck and took part in photo ops with residents. It was a great way to bring together the community! We look forward to seeing everyone at the upcoming Fall Fest on November 3rd, until then……

Do Good. Be Happy. And say Hello to your Nabr. 🙂
